"war" played by pacifists

Zora, after growing tired of playing "Go Fish ", wanted to play something else.  Me, not wanting to dig out a new board or card game suggested we play a new, different, game with the fish cards we already had out.  The only thing I could think of was "war", but being who I am, didn't want to call it that.  I couldn't think of what we called it as kids, so, inspired by the cards in front of me, I asked if she wanted to play "Fish Fry".  So, we played, the winner "frying" the loser.  Zach even joined in after a round to make it a 3-way Fish Fry.

A very Mennonite game.  lol.

  1. Growing up in South Louisiana, we called it bataille (Baah-TIE) -- or battle.
